Yeah, it only takes nailing his opponents with it for 11 rounds with the ref's help to get them out of there.
His left hook in general is pretty sweet. Browne and Chisora KOed, Parker on the floor. Definitely a go to weapon for Whyte.
It’s not Gassiev level but it’s ok. He hit Joshua with it early in their fight and shook him up, but that’s about it. And Joshua isn’t exactly Randell Tex Cobb in the chin department.
The Parker knockdown was from a headclash was it not? I've only skimmed through this fight but was there another knockdown I missed?
I think Chisora would have gone the distance without the ref's interventions. If he went he distance, they probably would have robbed him by a point.
Lol!! Exactly. Jordan didn’t know what year it was for the rest of that night. His kids will most likely be born with deformed jawbones because of that blast.
Was the ref bad? Watched the Framp Warrington card and caught round highlights of this between rounds so haven't seen the full fight.
He was on Chisora's case a lot. It wasn't the cleanest fight but it was Whyte v Chisora, it wasn't supposed to be a squeaky clean bout, and the warnings only seemed to go one way. 2 points deducted was overkill, it meant Chisora had to really chase the bout late and it probably cost him.
I did see the 2nd point deduction flocking over between rounds and thought the elbow attempt was blatantly dirty. Without seeing much of the rest of the fight I was expecting that point deduction as soon as I seen the elbow and thought it was fair. Didn't see the other one though.
Worst ref job since the guy from the AJ Parker fight. Chisora elbowed him out of growing frustration. Both were just about equally dirty, but the ref only picked on Chisora. The second deduction I about three things at the screen in frustration with the horrible corrupt ref. Maybe it would have been fair in a vacuum, but in the context of the overall horrid ref job that went so much against Chisora, it was the final straw. I think Chisora got desperate after that and it ehlped him get kod. Outside of Bowe Golata, refs shouldn't have that kind of impact on a fight.
I wasn't checking in here on fight day. I thought it was the worst ref job since the AJ Parker fight, and that there was a good chance the ko was attributable to Chisora getting desperate from being robbed by the ref. Sounds like I wasn't the only one who felt that way?
