Yes, but he sacrifices range for it, and the amount of swing he puts into the shot often leaves him vulnerable if it misses. It's both a strength and a weakness for him.
That's what makes him dangerous imo. He'll throw monster shots leaving himself open when an opponent doesn't expect it, in an awkward position !
Hmm, his right's the only shot he really still needs major work on IMO. He either throws it like a sloppy Deontay Wilder style overhand, or a short kind of pushing arm punch that doesn't seem to generate much power on it. In fact most of Whyte's punch mechanics are kind of awkward looking, like his body isn't quite working in coordination with itself, but it's especially pronounced with his right cross. Maybe a function of his shoulder issues, I don't know.
