Dave Allen , Katie Taylor. Josh Kelly will fill up the card most likely. Should never be a pic main event no belt on line where we all know if whyte wins or this fight falls through he will fight aj in April anyway. Fleecing the UK market but not American market. Feel sorry for Frampton and Warrington as a good scrap but will lose out heavily to this.

 

I’d love to know how much Katie Taylor is on for these undercard fights- I’d wager it’s a pittance to help promote another “World Title” bout on the PPV card.

ppv to you. You justify it to them by buying it, or not.

I see a Irish news article saying she gets paid 6 figures, think that was for her third fight. She's one of the most famous sportsmen in Ireland, they get the Sky PPVs aswell, the reason she ends up on the PPV cards.

 

Yep no doubt Taylor is extremely well paid.

 

I wonder if BT and Sky will come to an arrangement that one of the main event fights starts no later than 9.30pm with the other following suit.

So say Frampton vs Warrington starts 9.30pm and Chisora vs Whyte starts 10.30pm?

 

Can’t see it personally. I think Sky will try and blow BT out on this one with a semi decent undercard also. I expect Buatsi, Dave Allen vs Browne, maybe Josh Kelly. If they outsell BT signicantly it might make BT consider who they put on PPV in the future. In turn that could mean warren would struggle to pay some of the stars such as Frampton PPV money and may struggle to entice anyone considering a switch over with the promise of PPV

 

Hearn is going to be smug as they come. Frampton turned him down, Warrington a former fighter of his, and BT their main competitor. No doubt this does more buys and takes a hell of a lot of attention away from the World Title fight.
Our main Sports news broadcaster is Sky, that fight week Whyte and Chisora will be plastered all over SSN and poor Carl and Josh won't even get mentioned.

Warrington vs Frampton is a Warren show remember, so the main event should get going about 4pm on the Sunday afternoon...

 

Also wouldn't be surprised to see Haye and Whyte exchange pleasantries at the presser to drum up interest and remove the need of Dereck throwing tables to bring attention.

 

Im sure it will be more then pleasantries they exchange lol...bottles, tables and fists are all going flying!

If women’s boxing was so great it would survive on its own, as its own sport.

In reality it’s terrible to watch and I would rather watch Phil and Dave go at it at closing time, than watch any two women fight.
