And like last time, the WBA is nowhere to be seen in this poll.

#4 last time, miles behind the WBC and the IBF and significantly behind the WBO... Now they have 1 louzy vote, and on top of it, it comes from a guy with 2 WBA beltholders in his av.
Is there no love at all for the WBA anymore?
A few guys said a lot of the voters for the WBC would have the WBA as their #2, but I doubt that's actually the case.

    The Ring
    ...
    WBO
    IBF
    WBA
    WBC
    ...
    IBO
    European

And then everything else in relation to "professional boxing" as a whole is irrelevant, as more often than not the above will prove to be incompetent.

As boxing fans why are we even trying to give credibility to any of the sanctioning bodies?

The only true alphabet organisation is below:

It's not about taking them totally seriously, it's wich one you take the MOST serious even if it's only a louzy 1%.
That's what the poll is about; wich of the corrupt, inconsistent, bogus alphabets has the most credibilty left.

the IBF is probably the most consistent. They will strip you if you don't fight a mandatory, they stripped Mayweather after the Judah fight even when it appeared he wanted unification with Baldomir.

But the most popular has to be the WBC, I mean Mayweather collected the Green and Gold. Baldomir chose to keep that belt out of all the belts Judah Unified. And usually their champions are either the number 1 or 2 guy in the division which helps credibility. Their Biggest problem, they have way too many belts.

And don't even get me started on the WBA.

IBF is probably the most legit.

    WBC has the most prestige.

But i don't take any of them seriously and they are all full of ****. In reality The Ring is a more useful measuring stick than any of the genuine sanctioning bodies, even though its surrounded by HBO/Golden Boy bull****.

I like how the IBA is now beating the WBA. My favorite thing Floyd has done is telling them where they could put that worthless WBA belt.
