    Wrong, they say that, but it's still because of the money. This is a job, they might enjoy it, but they all don't.

    Andrade has a ton of heart, and he doesn't like boxing all that much. A lot of people give their all to jobs they don't like/love.. it's in their temperament as a person. Doesn't mean they'd do it if it didn't pay.

    every pro boxer fights for money. of course some fight for the honor of their country but they still have to receive some ample compensation for their work. if there was anyone who fought for glory only, it was the fighter who waved his fee and gave it all to charity.

    I'm pretty sure that anyone with a doctorate or a PhD has the title of doctor. It's obviously different from having a medical degree, which also means you get called a doctor.

    I thought they were both PhDs in sports something or other... where there would be some good money to be made.

    Probably not so much money in philosophy.

    if i understand TS correctly, the question is more like, who would go the extra mile and perhaps, be willing to sacrifice a little money, in exchange for a shot at glory..

    if my understanding of the question is correct, then carl froch certainly deserves a mention..
