    You are a bonafide idiot. If Tyson did not want to fight what was Lewis to do - force him? Have a conga line of lawyers escort him to the ring?

    Actually he was Linear Champ from 1998-2003, the Holyfield fights were defenses of the linear title

    They can either fight... or lose their title. Which would have been the case. I don't think that they would bother to give Lewis that much cash, if they weren't going to fight him anyways. Tyson had a more lucrative fight on the table, and Lewis seemed like he was more interested in some cash, than he was in fighting the best in the division.
