Ahem. If you mean the linear or undisputed title, the 6 times he defended it is 6 more times than Wlad and Vitaly combined have defended that title.

How many linear/undisputed title defences did Tyson make?

If you count the Tucker fight as where he got it (being undisputed), he made six successful defences, until he lost to Douglas.

(Biggs, Holmes, Tubbs, Spinks, Bruno, Williams)

If you go Linear, he didn't get that till he beat Spinks. And he defended that TWICE.

Now, hardly a reign of terror that is it?

You make this game too easy.

(Oh, and Tyson beat NONE of the other great heavies of his era, if you count them as Lewis, Bowe, Holy and Tyson. There are no others worthy of being in the same bracket as those guys).

I can't remember that far back but from memory alone - yes, Lewis was the man to beat. I never thought Holy had a chance either, he did better than I expected to be honest.

Yes really - Wladimir doesn't "try" anything, he *does* and he won't have half as hard a job against David Hype. David is just not a genuine heavyweight.

Haye will be eating combinations and that powerful jab alone will have slowed him down so much he won't last beyond

David Hype isn't going to land anything meaningful on Wladimir Klitschko, because he's just not good enough.

We will find out on fight night, "if it happens" - If it doesn't it will be because Haye feigns injury to avoid a beating!

    regards

Sherdog does suck, but, when Wlad makes your hero look like he's an amateur swinging for the fences when nobodies home are you gonna cry? Will your bubble be burst? Will you admit you were wrong when Wladimir counter punches your guy into la-la land? Will he still be your hero with drool running outta his mouth?

    Now, lets do Holy.

    Lets do linear.

Won it from Douglas, so let's start here.

Beats Foreman, Cooper, Holmes (combined age of about 120)

    LOSES to Bowe.
    Beats Bowe.
    LOSES to Moorer.

Moorer loses to Foreman, who lost to Briggs, who lost it to Lewis. Holy then had a draw and a loss to Lewis.

So in LINEAR title fights, Holy's record is (including winning it):

    5-3-1

He however only has THREE defences of the title.

So far as undisputed, he had THREE defences of that too, that's all.

Gosh, this is an easy game.

I think you mean "another person who understands that linear doesn't mean consensus best fighter".

Widdows example was based on linear. Why would I respond with anything different?

Wlad Klitschko isnt even fit to carry Lennox's used condoms, still warm with fresh semen, and put them into the wastebasket.

Hide didn't get a rematch because there was not rematch - he had been smacked down thoroughly. As much as I think Herbie is a cool guy, and genuine, and great boxer, you can't be serious to suggest that Vitali "ducked" a guy he had comprehensively KTFO'd!

Vitali was scared of the guy he beat down and knocked the hell out?!?!

    This formula explains that assertion:

    :hat:hat:hat >>>>> :rofl:rofl:rofl

Lucky punch?!?!? Fight is on youtube - I suggest a thorough breakdown.......of all two rounds!!!

Come on, you are just making conversation now!
