Widdowanker is a complete tool. It's somewhat worrying when a man(I assume the gender is male) is quite so in love with one particular boxer(or pair of boxing brothers!!)

The only last true Unified and lineal real Champ for me was the Tyson of 1986 to 1990. Tyson fought every mandatory and best challenger available for all of his belts and if it was not for the politics, etc., he would have fought at least every 2-3 months like he always he wished he could do !! That's what real champs should do if it wasn't for this corrupted money hungry era we are part of...

Why wouldn't Evander Holyfield qualify as a true unified lineal champion? He defeated Douglas who defeated Tyson, therebye beating the man who beat the man. He kept the belts in tact, until he lost to Riddick Bowe who then divided them.

Wlad and Vitali, if they are lucky, might someday be invited to Canastota, the IBHOF to polish the glass that covers the jockstrap that Larry Holmes wore in his last fight when he schooled Butterbean. I heard that he donated the still warm, soaking wet jockstrap to the President, at that fight, and it was put into a special, environmentally controlled, airtight container. To this day, in it''s special glass covering, like the "Iceman" Uti, who is still perfectly preserved in his special glass case, 6700 years later after his body was discovered in the Glacier, perfectly preserved, so is the jockstrap, still containing warm sweat from Larry's groin area. Maybe, if Vitali and wlad still have their army uniforms, they could perform Honor Guard duty to the jockstrap.

I don't dispute that he matches up well H2H. As far as his accomplishments versus Tyson, it depends on what you prefer. I give greater marks for Tyson's dominance, the way in which he was basically unbeatable in his prime. You cannot say that for Lewis. I will admit that it is close between Tyson and Lewis. I have them at #11 and #13 respectively. Holyfield was greater than both of them, and would have beaten Lewis is his prime.

I don't think his resume is top 10 ATG but it was decent.

The problem is in his competition mostly. He never faced Byrd or Ruiz when they held titles. And Golota as pointed out was never a top 5 guy. Nor was Tyson when Lewis got him.

The best case you can make for Lewis are the wins over Holyfield. Those will always be the ones that stand out for him. But as we all saw with Bowe and Cooper that Holyfield struggled with bigger opponents.

And the loss to Rahman doesn't help his case either. I could see an ATG dropping a decision or a real close war. But to get KTFO the way Lewis did was just hilarious.

That - along with his not facing Bowe and fighting Holyfield and Tyson when they were way past their primes - is why I do not think he should be in the top ten.

I think (my personal opinion) that Lewis didn't fight them because they would bring too little $$$.

His term was "If the fans want to see this fight then I'll fight it". Translation: "If I don't get enough $$$ then obviously fans don't want to see it".
