against Ortiz and delivered a great, dramatic fight with a sensational rally to win.

AJ had the world watching ... and dropped a big, smelly turd on the heavyweight boxing scene.

Wilder spent half the fight going backwards and was booed numerous times for his cautiousness, it was Ortiz constantly coming forward that sparked the fight into the to and fro spectacle that it was. It takes two to tango and sometimes respective styles make it harder to tango than usual. Solely pinning the entertainment value of a fight on only one half of the equation is moronic.

    You mad, bro?

You don’t think AJ could have elected to engage more and tried to turn it up past “tap jab, wait, tap jap, wait, miss uppercut, wait ... repeat”?

Wilder vs Ortiz was all about Ortiz, not about Wilder. Wilder was exposed there, completly dominated by Ortiz. Ortiz should have won the fight but ran out of gas in the end and Windmill caught him. **** happens.
AJ put up a clinic today. Lost two or three rounds against a Top 10 HW, was not even close to getting hurt.
You can not blame AJ for being such a superior fighter who wins even vs Top 10 opponents without being in trouble.

Yeah, I've rewatched the Ortiz/Wilder fight several times now.

AJ/Parker? Hope I never have to see it again.

Hell, I'd rewatch it again right now if I had the time, just to get the sour taste of AJ/Parker out of my mouth.

I'll just watch a quick highlight reel:
