im in a sticky situation...golden gloves are coming up and i have 2 choices... loose wieght and fight at 132 or loose nothing and fight at 141 the thing is im about 134-135 so im not sure what i should do..? and if i do decide to loose the other 2-3 lbs do i just try to sweat it out before the wiegh ins and then just try to rehydrate the 5-6 hours b4 the fight?
Even is the tournament isn't until this weekend, that is enough time to lose 3 pounds without having to dehydrate. Why are you guys all so obsessed with dehydrating, it's dangerous and you can't perform as well. Just cut back on what you eat and work out a bit more, you'll lose the weight.
the tournaments april 11th...and the reason im worried about it is because im already very lean im about 5' 10 and loosin those extra 2-4 lbs wont be as easy as people may think
You have plenty of time. Do an extra 15-20 minutes of skipping rope a day in addition to your normal workouts. If you work out in the evening, skip in the morning and vice versa. Cut out sugar and cut as much salt out of your diet as you can. No soda, no junk food.
cut the weight with your height and reach in that weight class should be an advantage go up in weight go up in size cut the 2 pounds and win that ****
you can lose that in a couple of hours! no problem! some people lose 6 to 7Ibs before fighting, your straight.
