Wikipedia claims Mickey Ward was KOd in April 98 by a guy named Jody Ullum?

    Boxrec shows Mickey Ward knocked out a guy named Mark Fernandez in 3 rounds on 4/14/1998 sandwiched in between his losses to Vince Phillips and Jab Judah...

    However, Wikipedia shows that on that same day, Mickey Ward got knocked out in 3 rounds against a guy named Jody Ullom

    I actually remember the losses to Phillips to and Judah, but not the fight in between

    I would assume this is some sort of type o by Wikipedia, but truth be told I've only started using them as a reference because of the lousy new format boxrec rolled out in the last couple of years

    Yes Boxrec only allows you to see the rounds of the the KO/TKO/UD if you are logged in which is impossible if you are not logged in already to that device. So they are unwittingly sending traffic over to Wikipedia.

    Wikipedia however can be edited by the village idiot to say anything, and I mean literally anything so its a pinch of salt reference point unless you can remember the reference in your head from previous experience.

    I dont believe that fight ever happened and I think its a wikipedia troll to be honest. Boxrec is the bible point for boxing results
