Tarver dominated Woods recently, Dawson will have his hands full. I think Tarver but I want Dawson to win. I hate Tarver lol.

I got Dawson, Tarver has never impressed me, never. Especially since beating Jones look how he has looked against everyone he has fought

No, I pick Dawson to outshine him in a UD win. I think his workrate will be too much for Tarver. Dawson needs this fight to prove himself though after the close fight with Glen Johnson.

Yes, because Tarver will be 100% motivated like he was against Woods. No Muriqi or Santiago type performances. A motivated Tarver is a heck of a fighter.

That remains to be seen. :D

I'm picking Dawson via UD. Tarver is 39 people . . . he will slow down after the middle rounds. I don't see him out working the 26 years old Dawson.

Dawson by decision. I think Dawson's speed and athleticism will frustrate Tarver.

Tarver is so underrated by a lot of fans IMO. Maybe it's the way he throws his punches like a sissy that throws people off. He didn't beat RJJX2, Woods, Johnson (twice i think), Harding, and Griffin by being lucky.

    Nah . . . in my case no. I'm not underestimating Tarver . . . I'm just being realistic.

He beat RJJ in 2004 nd 2005. He beat Johnson in their second fight in 2005 also. Griffith in 2003. . . Harding in 2002 . . . it's 2008 bud and he is fighting a 26 years old opponent who has a good work rate.

Logical choice would be the 26 years old than a 39 years old fighter. :yep

Point taken. Yeah, the logical choice is Dawson. But how can you just let his showing against Johnson slide? The guy was badly hurt twice and Johnson's not a heavy hitter. He's an accumulation guy. Tarver's got an incredible left that he throws straight and it's accurate. If he touches Dawson, there's a good chance that Dawson will be hurt and Tarver is a better finisher than Johnson.

I just think that the Tarver that fought Woods has ENOUGH foot speed, hand speed, and overall activity to give Dawson enough trouble in a boxing match where he will catch Dawson with the left.

Tarver doesnt have the gas Johnson has. Dawson will win.
