Congrats to young Will on his win against a very tough opponent. Luved everything about this fight & all the adversaries Will had to overcome throughout the fight such as the cuts & so forth. That fight alone will do him wonders. Well done Will.

Loved this fight, every moment. True combatants not taking a step backward the entire fight. Will soundly deserved this win. This was the type of fight and win he needed to garner some respect from doubting boxing pundits.....especially round here.

He surely won himself some fans with that display..overcame some pretty hairy moments to grind out the win.

Clearly a lot of flaws there but he is pretty good value.

Well matched that fight..wouldn't mind seeing how Flemo handles that Mexican lad.

No he's not. He is the IBO champ now and can defend against chumps.

Heh, they are looking for filo FLYWEIGHTS for flemo. True. That mexican wouldnt be anywhere near their radar.

Agree 100% with what you said about wild will. Not sure why he is calling out katsidis though. Seems a bit odd ball.

Lead Right got the mexican everytime. It was unothordox but whatever works I guess. His trainer kept saying work the jab, double it and work of it. But it was a straight lead right hand that caught the mexican.

His trainer needs to take his own advice and do some training himself though.

Very gutsy indeed. Funny thing is I have been thinking over the last few days where is Aussie boxing heading internationally and who have we got to ride with and I kept thinking that Wills style as seen the other night is on par with Katsidis. I don't think he should face Katsidis any time soon. A loss here would see his stock in Aus plummet....risk v reward, there is not much reward and plenty of risk. A couple more willing Mexicans would be awesome.
