i think wild will will be a next world champion and quite possibly has the tools to be one of our best
Tomlinson has been looked afta very well so far and has gr8 management. But I think he's alredy hit his straps. He has no head movement and any1 that uses lateral movement or has long reach will walk him into shots all nite long eg. Money- Hatton. Just sayin...
its only early days. i haven't seen much yet so i don't have an opinion yet. but, would u have said the same thing about this guy back then? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7qkeAPxMA0[/ame]
How can you compare the two? Pacquiao was 20 when he won his first world title, which was a legit WBC against a champion who woz defendin'... not a vacant BS title. Tomlinson is 25 and he's fighting for a vacant title against an Argy who Cool Willie K beat da fuk out of after 10 fights.
Well Tomlinson will be Australias next "world champ" that is if u consider the ibo a legitimate organisation which i and most others do not. I would rather Tomlinson win the toughest regional belt the Opbf belt against a tough Jap but thats often too much risk for most Aussies hence the easy route against a padded Argy!
wasnt so long ago the ibf wasnt considered worthy.. or any of the 'abc' mob for that matter. i think it matters more WHO you fight, more than what belt. there is just so many types of belts in so many different divisions, its taken much of the meaning, or claim anyone can make about being the 'world champion'. i like boxing, but couldnt name you more than 1 world champ that would be undisputed. its just a ****en sludge. let pro boxers fight in the olympics. at least that would give some sort of structure to the mess we have today.
Dan Rafael of ESPN.com has been reporting that Will Tomlinson is likely to fight Adrien Broner on HBO BAD on Nov 26th. Richard Schaefer is claiming they are in deep negotiations with Tomlinson's camp as he is the highest available contender & a deal is not far from being completed. I guess we shall watch this space.....
