    Lest we forget, at one time Brunson was a touted undefeated
    ko artist that had "destroyed" everyone in his wake as well.

    Brunson of course is now a journeyman, he's on what
    loss number 5 I believe. But his course trajectory
    pre-carson jones was no different than Wilder's.

    I would just laugh and not consider him legit... pretty much the same as I do now :p . sad to think 3 years ago I was a huge fan of hishaha

    Until he started fighting guys in the top 100, and then he lost to everyone.

    How many guys did Brunson beat who had a winning record? Two?

    I think we're past that point with Wilder. I think he crossed that threshold about seven years ago.

    The phrase 'champion' and "Wilder" don't go together in the same sentence. The point about Brunson is that he actually fought everyone as you just said, where as Wilder had FIVE voluntaries to fight a top 10 opponent and chose not to every single time.

    Anthony Joshua in only 18 fights is now fighting the best HW of the last 10 years, where as Wilder is looking at the Stiverne's and Wach's of the world after almost 40 bouts.
