I've no idea why he got so worked up about that last point, re Guinn and Williams. Thought we were on the same page for a moment, but I guess not.

Wilder isn't the bogeyman. If semi-retired former middleweights or part timers with huge numbers of losses are brave enough to get into the ring with him, then tough experienced journeymen aren't going to suddenly turn tail and run. Guinn's got nine losses already and has been in with tons of hard hitting prospects. What's one more to add to that? His days as a viable contender are long gone. He has nothing to lose.

Are Golden Boy so ****ing stingy that they aren't willing to pay a miniscule amount more for an opponent that could take Jonty rounds, and expose a few of his flaws in the process? If so then they have absolutely no faith in him, and any talk about his future prospects are nill until he either changes promoters, or they show some willingness to put him in with some decent opp for a change.
