    No, he won't fight Parker.

Rudenko and Kauffman are next in line for Bum Zquad.

Wilder is always giving interviews saying he wants the top fighters.
Then announces he's fighting another bum.

It will almost certainly be in the US, Parker is now promoted by Top Rank anyway. If Wilder takes this, it would go a long way towards making up for the garbage he's faced so far.

i doubt it happens, ever since Wilder won that belt from Stiverne, he's been talking about facing the best, but his run of voluntary title defenses speaks for itself

I think Wilder felt he had to do something and fast.
He is next having his 38th fight next, where fighters with far less fights have done alot more

Massive difference in saying it and signing to fight!! Wilder has fought nobody and has had nearly 40 fights it's a joke.

I honestly don't think that Wilder is a chicken, he will fight if his team can make it happen. Boxing will fade into total obscurity unless fights like this are made in 2017.

Wilder is not in charge of picking his opponents. He may or may not want to fight unification fights, question is will Haymon agree.

Remember Floyd used Pacquiao's name to hype up his next fights for YEARS "Pacman's next!". Wilder is giving us the "Unification is next!" lines now. IMO we have to doubt him until proven not guilty.

This is true, Wilder has gone out saying he'd fight everyone but always ends up fighting a nobody. I believe Parker and their team want it he's been matched quite aggressively against challenging opposition of late but until I actually see Wilder in the ring with someone decent you have to take everything he says as nothing but talk.

That would be a good fight.

The winner of this and the winner of Joshua v Wlad would be the top two in the division.

Hopefully we see them fight each other after that.

No it won't. Wilder ko's him and Parker will be considered another piece of garbage. The Ruiz level is as far as Parker goes. Cheapskate duco have taken him as far as they can. That's why they brought Bob in for the rescue. He should have gone to the US early in his career for proper management , promotion and training. NZ is a boxing back water and is not capable of producing a top line hw.
