Depth is huge. Having one signature win at a good level isn't nothing, but it can just be a stylistic advantage that belies limitations as an all-round fighter... So Zhang, for instance, has beaten Joyce twice but nobody else significant - it's not a nothing resume, but it's very thin... There's no way he's more proven than Parker. Yes Parker lost to Joyce, but he also beat Ruiz and Wilder, only lost to Whyte because of an incorrect call, beat Chisora twice, beat a better version of Takam (arguably Joyce's second best win)... I would still rate his resume as a whole as better than Joyce's - it's deeper despite the losses to Joyce himself and to Joshua (and the controversial one to Whyte).
