    Wilder has accepted AJ/Hearn’s terms.

Now will AJ and Hearns accept their own terms, or move the goalpost again?

The hype will be great. The fight won't be.

    AJ wins this early.

I wouldn't go to that extreme.

Wilder has a heart of a champion, whereas Joshua will fight opponents based upon certain conditions being met i.e they have to be either old, short, stiff or young but lacking in power and all have to take place in the uk.

Definitely a fight worth watching. I hope they each land a big shot at the same time and go to sleep. First one to snore loses.

Wilder announces hell fight in the UK and has accepted terms.... about 45 seconds before the AJ-Povetkin deal is signed. Joshua to still fight Povetkin first. Wilder to jump up and down about how Joshua is ducking him after he has constantly delayed and they have already offered him numerous contracts.

How do you know Hearn didn't send the offer last minute before he was just about to seal the Povetkin deal?

Don't try and make Wilder look bad because you can't.

The 50 million dollar offer has been sitting on the table for the last month for AJ to accept and he came up with all sorts of excuses for why he would make one of the dumbest decisions in boxing history alongside that other bonehead, Broner rejecting 40 million from Roc Nation.

Wilder makes rookie mistakes: hands too far away from his chin, feet too wide, gets fat with his shots.

AJ is a bigger, stronger guy with far better technique. He'll throw straight jabs through Wilder's widespread hands, then drop in hooks around the hands when they drift a foot or two in front of Wilder's face.

Honestly, I don't see a single advantage, technically, Wilder has.

Why when a big fight like this is discussed so heavily that when it is signed, one or both sides go into some sort of mode of preemptive damage control?

I hope it happens. But Wilder needs it much more. Joshua will go and fight Povetkin otherwise, which I still believe is a better win than one over Wilder. It isn't even milking to say I wanted Joshua/Povetkin and Wilder/Parker before they fought, in a too-good-to-be-true sort of world.

Either way, I hope big time this does come off this year, would be a pleasant surprise.

Nah, it doesn't matter. Eddie Hearn and Povetkin's promoter have already agreed to fight next. they've agreed on the terms, and the contract is supposed to me signed in the next 48 hours. SO any negotiations between AJ and Wilder is for a fight that will be after AJ vs. Povetkin.

When will people realise that words literally mean nothing in boxing. NOTHING. Everything said at that level is calculated in a way to hype the fight or shine a good light on the fighter. Every day you see a boxing article where so and so said this, and so and so said that, and then whatever was said doesn't come into fruition.

I must add, this is coming from someone who thinks it is blatantly obvious that it's AJ's side that have been swerving this fight. F*ck this fight anyway, too much blatant 'selling soul' and devil talk as I've mentioned before in more detail.
