“He wasn’t a true champion. His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts. Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!”

Deontay saying that Anthony Joshua was never “a true champion” after the British fighter lost his title in a shocking manner is rather absurd. Deontay quickly followed that absurdity up with proven lies by implying that the reason for the failed fight was because Joshua's team were simply avoiding it. "Now we know who was running from who!" Let’s do a quick breakdown of this nonsense.

“He wasn’t a true champion. His whole career was consisted of lies, contradictions and gifts.”

Listen, we’re talking about an Anthony Joshua who has been in very tough in comparison to Wilder at the same stage of their careers/fights. For example:
    • In 23 fights Joshua has faced Andy Ruiz, Alexander Povetkin, Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam, Wladimar Klitschko, Dominic Breazeale, Charles Martin, Dillian Whyte, and Kevin Johnson.
    • In Wilder's first 23 fights he fought Harold Sconiers, Justin Nichols, Marlon Hayes, as well as Damon Reed, both cruiserweights with his standout opponent being journeyman Owen Beck.
When Joshua had bad day at the office it was against Klitschko, Parker, Ruiz, Whyte, etc. When Wilder had a bad day at the office, it was against Sconiers (who he almost lost to), Molina, Nichols, etc.

“Facts and now we know who was running from who!!!”

Wilder’s reaction is laughable considering that it was Wilder himself who turned down a 120 million contract to fight Breazeale for less than 10 million. Joshua said that Fury and Wilder were ducking him, and criticized them for fighting, "cab drivers and binmen." This is basically proven in the case of Wilder by the fact that he turned down the enormous contract.

Wilder, instead of laughing and goading Joshua and his fans, you should be crying in your breakfast cereal at all the money that just evaporated before your eyes.

Joshua hasn’t ever received a gift Decision like Wilder did against Fury. Joshua also has the far better resume.

AJ resume is light years ahead of Wilder’s Everyone knows that. People gloat when someone hey dislike or root against loses. It’s the nature of the sport. Joshua lost people are going to make claims. Wilder says a bunch of stupid things just the person he is.

I head ya man, I get that. I'm talking about the utterly delusional Wilder fans. I don't even want to go on the Wilder fan YouTube channels right now haha. I can only imagine.

Compare first 23 fights between the two and it tells you the whole story.

Sure the fact that overrated british stiff lost does not make wilder any better. And no wilder is not better than joshua, I always said it is a 50/50 fight.

I am a fan of wilder in the ring but i call a spade a spade, if he wasn't a true champion and you expected ruiz to beat him, why turn down 120 million to fight him for all the belts? I can understand if you thought he was the real deal and that he would go undefeated for another 12 months or however long you were planning on waiting until the fight became even bigger, But if you truly thought was was a hype job, soon to be exposed you would have jumped at that mega payday before somebody else beat him and the fight's value plummeted.

Low blow from wilder to kick a man when he's down.

Joshua takes risks and wilder doesn’t, those are the facts. When he took the one risk of his career , he thought the fighter was finished and then he was embarrassed showing how poor his boxing skill is. Wilder is just an idiot.

Trying to reason with Wilder fans is an unachievable feat, birds of a feather and all that.
Can you imagine Wilder taking on Vlad in his 19th fight? When he was still a baby in his 33rd fight.:risas3:

Wilder taking on Klitschko in his 19th fight might've resulted in permanent brain damage for him. A few fights earlier Sconiers had him rolling around the canvas.

Charles Martin is a bum, Dominic Breazeale is a bum, Andy Ruiz is a fat bum. Joseph Parker to beat by the fat bum Andy Ruiz, Dillian Whyte isn't anything special. Carlos Takam isn't anything special. Kevin Johnson was old and isn't anything special. Wladimir Klistchko and Alexander Povetkin were pushing 90.

So AJ fought old men and bums while doing the same age Wilder was fighting lower level bums? What does this prove? Andy Ruiz a fat butterball still just knocked the tar out of overrated Anthony Joshua. No matter what excuse you try to use isn't going to change that. Clearly Wilder didn't want a piece of AJ at first and clearly AJ didn't want to fight Wilder. But if they do fight now Wilder would smoke AJ in the first round.

Absolutely. He isn't afraid of failure and take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow as a fighter and I see him returning stronger. It's insane how much people discourage this boxing these days and covet the undefeated record as much as they do. If you fight the best, you'll probably lose a few.
