What risks did AJ take? You mean beating Eric Molina after he was knocked out by Chris Arreola and Deontay Wilder? You mean fighting old men like Wlad and Povetkin? That isn't taking risks. He got exposed the first time he fought a guy who wasn't old and knew how to throw punches back. The sad thing is Andy Ruiz isn't close to being a skilled heavyweight. He is just more skilled than the no talent jokes AJ usually fights. AJ is 29. He has no skill, no chin, no stamina, no heart. I guess he could go back to fighting old men and other club fighters. But he will never actually get "better".
I am not sure it is a wise idea for Wilder fans to rejoice over the loss that Joshua suffered considering it is a matter of time before Wilder himself gets caught and put to sleep. His wild and winging ways has got him hurt or stunned in many of his fights.
You completely misunderstood my point. I wrote that comparing Joshua and Wilder's first 23 matches it becomes entirely obvious to honest observers who had by far the better tests. Ask yourself if Wilder fought Dillian Whyte in his 15th fight instead of cruiserweight DeAndrey Abron, a few fights after almost getting derailed and embarrassed by Harold Sconiers a few fights earlier, would he win? How many losses would Wilder have in his first 23 fights in his resume included Alexander Povetkin, Wladimar Klitschko, Kevin Johnson, Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale, Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam, Charles Martin, and Andy Ruiz Jr? Can you answer that question?
If his resume resembled Joshua's, he already would have crumbled in defeat. That seems obvious, and not it's really nothing to be ashamed of anyways. When fights face the best, they typically endure a few losses.
The arrogant Brit fans brought this about, spewing bs that Joshua was invincible and already the best ever.
Maybe they did contribute to this delusion. There's a special level of delusional nonsense related to Wilder however, and much of it has nothing to do with boxing. I'll just leave it at that.
Yep, one is undefeated and the other isn't. Because that one got undressed via schooling, violently beaten down, had his heart taken from him, physically beaten, mentally beaten and emotionally beaten to the point where he lost all his confidence and gave up. The look of emasculation, humiliation and and embarrassment plastered all over his face said it all....And?
AJ lost to the exact guy most of these modern fans thought he was inbincible against, that think siize always beats skill. Ruiz is 6'2 with a 74 inch reach and a fat tub of lard at that and gave Joshua the beating of his life
Right, and once again, we're talking about the first 23 fights. Try to deny that Wilder would endure several losses against Joshua's resume if he face the same during his first 23 fights. You wouldn't do that, because I believe that you're rational. The point being that Joshua has run the gauntlet throughout only his first 23 fights unlike practically everyone else, save Povetkin possibly, maybe Parker was building a similar resume. Once again, ask yourself if Wilder fought Dillian Whyte in his 15th fight instead of cruiserweight DeAndrey Abron, a few fights after almost getting derailed and embarrassed by Harold Sconiers, would he win? How many losses would Wilder have in his first 23 fights in his resume included Alexander Povetkin, Wladimar Klitschko, Kevin Johnson, Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale, Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam, Charles Martin, and Andy Ruiz Jr? Can you answer that question? Not that I'm saying that there would be any shame in losing a fight with that resume in his first 23 contests. There wouldn't be.
wilder would walk thru aj and hearn both , i mean they are attached at the hip right? one cluck cluck to another cluck cluck
This is truly reaching. Who cares not all "first 23 fights" are directly comparable. One guy has had major promotional backing his whole career and the other hasn't
Not really reaching at all. Joshua has fought 23 bouts. I'm asking about what do you think Wilder's record would be if his resume were the same as Joshua's?
