He should have been celebrating Ruiz's win not kicking the losing man but he is dirty that his big money fight is gone I suppose...

Wilder says something dumb and classless and we get bent out of shape... why?

Wilder doesn't know any better. He's a low IQ moron filled with bitterness and jealousy because he can't fathom in his pea brain how he isn't the most popular and most well-regarded fighter on the planet. It's exactly the type of response I'd expect of him, so in that respect I'm glad he didn't disappoint me.

I honestly don't even care if Wilder never takes another loss again, or makes more money than he can ever dream of. His life is going to take a massive downturn once his career is over, and he'll be left with what ifs echoing around his empty skull for the rest of his years.

You gotta put things in perspective, It's not peanuts the average person or average millionaire, But considering what he was offered and what he could get by taking another route, it is peanuts. He is willing to take that chance because he believes in himself. Nothing wrong with that. Now let me point something out, this ain't about me. All I am talking is boxing,

The thing that doesn't add up is that Wilder turned down the DAZN offer because, from all accounts, they didn't know what Joshua was getting and so if it was about the money why did he fight Breazeale for less? Also the next two fights with Ortiz and Fury is highly unlikely to generate $80 million dollars and that matters because Wilder would've made $40 million for each fight with AJ. If Wilder was working towards a mega fight, then AJ collapsing would've killed that as well. No I think Wilder just plained ducked AJ because he did not fancy his chances but now Ruiz is champion, Wilder might feel thats an easier fight and after 5 years might finally make an attempt to unify.

Right on the Joshua part and that was a major sticking point for Wilder because they wouldn't disclose what Joshua was making and Wilder could not accept that Joshua was quite possibly getting double what he was getting. A lot of people would have gobbled it up but Wilder is a different breed and he has a strewed manager in Al Haymon. Like I said, the next two fights with Fury and Ortiz was just gravy on the mega fight that was planned to happen between himself and Joshua. Joshua loss but it's still not all bad for Wilder because he still can achieve his goals. It just might take a little longer. All he has to do is keep winning.

How can you say facts when you know Nichols never dropped Wilder. It was a slip. Plus Wilder did not.have an extensive Am career like AJ.

Deontay Wilder was knocked down and almost lost to Harold Sconiers, not Dustin Nichols. Wilder had an amateur record of 30-5 while Joshua had an amateur record of 40-3.

He got $20m for Breazeale. Basically the same as if he’d fought him on DaysInn.

He got that without obligating himself to Eddie’s Network.

He was offered $40m x 2 for AJ plus rematch. Which was the issue - he has insisted all along that if he wins the first fight he should make more than AJ - basically reverse the purse split - for the rematch. Which is reasonable.

Eddie should have agreed to those terms. If he was confident AJ would win the first fight, he would have gone for it.

Well said. Eddie did the right thing. If that was Wilder in there Saturday he would've decapitated AJ.

The fight would have ended in tragedy if Wilder was throwing punches on Joshua's head.

Yeah I don't think it'd even get to the point of 4 knockdowns. If he hit him with the shot he got Brezeale with, it'd be lights out.
