I have a funny feeling Wilder is going to stop Fury.... yesterday Fury didn’t seem like he had that fire like he did in the first fight, where Wilder seems more motivated. Fury’s trainer switch so close to the fight, the videos of him online....how did you guys feel after yesterday? Plus it’s obvious they like each other but that won’t matter once the bell rings.

It all felt very scripted with no real discussion about the controversy of the last fight. Having the mic's muted so one another could not interrupt, did not help.

Fury looked more interested when he was in the WWE.

I had Fury winning this fight by wide UD originally. IMO Wilder has much more of a chance after yesterday (if the outcome Isn't scripted)

But in truth, I'd say we'll see another "draw", both fighters mentioned a trilogy and it felt like the outcome of this fight has already been decided.

Not per say, If it's a straight up one fight only winner takes all, both 100%, then I absolutely stand by my prediction.
I just got a vibe from the whole presser I did not like which makes me question.

I've said all along this is Fury's fight to lose, I did not think he was at 100% last time and could give more in the rematch and make it a cake walk. If I see that, then why is Fury happy to stay quiet, smile, shake hands and be generally nice?? Surely he would know out of anyone if he could beat Wilder?

Unless of course, like I said, it was all pre-scripted.

Sadly, more and more boxing events have that scripted feel. I understand where you are coming from in that regard. Other than that however, press conferences are really only good to see what kind of shape the fighters are in. Remember that Fury is very good at mind games, I wouldn't take anything you see from him seriously at all.

Also, for Wilder I think that these appearances in front of the media have to be scripted. He doesn't have the capability to speak in public and have his words be interesting/coherent without a heavily practiced script. He just isn't intelligent or charismatic. I am not saying that everyone has to be, but Wilder so desperately wants to be liked, and this is part of his plan. His "brand" can't be verbally humiliated by Fury every time they make an appearance.

    Agree.

My only single issue with the whole presser was that if Fury really had that fire in his belly due to the last fights controversy and the sheer magnitude that this fight actually has, we would of seen a lot more from him.

Talks of trilogy during the second fights build up makes me wonder.

But you're right, this could all be part of Fury's mind games.

Exactly the vibe I got. It all seemed way to rehearsed. My interest in the fight has definitely dropped after that.

So if Fury looks really "fire" in the next press conference you gonna change your pick?

Just wait. There are weeks. Press conference stuff doesn't generally mean much but when you are dealing with a bi-polar drug-addict (former, presumably) alpha male elite athlete it may be worth postponing your psychologist's pick, perhaps?

Absolutely agree to that. Wilder sounds so phoney. The things he says seem to be planned in advance. He should just let it aside and let the right hand speak...

I said I woudn't make the mistake of writing Fury off again but I've a feeling Wilder wins this one. It's not based on anything logical because if it was you would back Fury every time I just feel Wilder's star is rising and it's his time, whilst Fury, after this last year has had his redemption and is on the way out.
