Well let's be honest, Wilder has the iq of a turnip and an ego the size of Lake Michigan, known for making a ton of excuses the last time out, then getting embarrassed and beaten down in front of the whole world in a rematch in which he was juiced to the gills and feeling "healthier than ever" so let's cut Joshua some slack for actually winning his rematch, or better yet not bring him up in a thread which has ZERO to do with him, eh?
Fury should make it in three months time, take it or leave it and drop the belt if he refuses. Should not hang around for this bum.
Who's saying Wilder has skills? Who's saying Fury didn't win? Merely stating a fact, Wilder was compromised for the last 4 rounds due to blood pooling up in his ear. That was due to Fury ****ing up his ear. Oh well. But to deny that had something to with it is being intellectually dishonest. And no, I'll bring whatever the **** I want up in this thread. And no, I won't give anyone credit just because you want me to. Got it? Eh?
The contract says 30 days for a summer rematch if what has been reported is true. Also if Fury did vacate Wilder prob wouldn't care and the WBC would prob find some kooky reason to have him not fight Whyte for the vacant title.
There should have been a clause that said if second fight is a one sided beatdown with ko, no rematch.
That'd be hard to put in place - who decides what exactly constitutes a beatdown? If you just want to put KO then it would of been seen to give an advantage to Wilder as the puncher and if he stopped Fury after going 11-0 behind I think a rematch could still have been warranted.
Most fighters are like this bro. In the end, he has to return to the ring, risk his life. If he tells himself some lies to get over that line, np. VICTORY for Fury, brutal, huge, no taking that away with words.
Wilder should stay away from Twitter at the moment. After what he was dishing out when rivals lost or had difficulties he will not like that he's being mercilessly mocked and memed this morning.
Joshua got discombobulated by a punch on the top of the head which led to his loss. That's also a fact, or as near as we can come to without being privy to any background information. Difference is he actually won his rematch, and did so in dominant fashion, while Wilder got his turds pushed in. Both men suffered losses caused by legitimate punches landing in their head area. There isn't a single difference why one merits sympathy and respect while the other merits endless ridicule. Let's see how Wilder copes with his first official loss. Joshua bounced back with aplomb. If Wilder's made of the same stuff he'll do the same. That's all that needs to be said here.
Now the Wilder Myth has been busted where do people rank him currently? Is he still Top 5 or is Top 10 more realistic?
@CST80 just give massive credit to fury for the day, then starting from monday you can go back feeling sorry for wilder.
Fighters always have excuses like these. That's why I wonder why some excuses keep on being taken seriously.
