I don't like Wilder: he's clearly a dick, but I'm glad the ref prevented Fury from cementing him. Still, it's serious because Bayliss protection potentially could have got both fighters hurt.

Wilder's excuses are while he'll never bounce back from this loss and will only go downhill from here. When Joshua lost he made zero excuses, and just put in the work and came back stronger. Wilder will delude himself that he was compromised in some way then proceed to get utterly outclassed again, if he doesn't just go back to fighting utter sadsacks again.

Spare me with who u think can. Give me those who has beat him. Whyte and AJ can't do what Fury did, because neither one is a good as fury. I still would pick Wilder over those two. Ortiz was a high quality fighter he beat twice. Wilder started late and has not taking a lot of damage in boxing. He don't have to become Ali, because there are not a lot of skilled HW's in the game now. He can have the right trainer come in like a Hunter a help with a few fundamentals because again. The talent at HW is not high.

He stopped Wlad, who Beyonce ducked for years, and has four belts. What's Beyonce's best win and how many belts does he have?

    Ya, that's what I thought....

Finkel already confirmed there's no busted ear drum, just a cut on his ear.

Yeah I think he was also concussed badly so it is hard to give a good interview when you are in that state. I also think he was in a bit of shock he couldn't believe what had just happened to him.

Yep like you said Fury caused the damage and if it wasn't his ear Fury was going to get to him anyway. But for those now saying he didn't have a busted ear drum so its not that bad, that makes me laugh and tells me they have never been hit before. Even if it did not bust the ear drum a 270 pound dude hitting you with a right hand on the ear would have your ears ringing and you equilibrium gone. Wilder showed he is tough as hell and needed to be saved from himself he was just beaten by a better man.

Your agenda is clear, AJ has everything to with it. That said, AJ gets off the hook...for now, so be relieved I guess.

How can you be so sure that Fury's the only active HW capable of beating Wilder, when there are a bunch of high level ones he has to fought yet?

That's your opinion, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Ortiz is one fighter, and Father Time caught up to him a fight before their rematch. Did you see how he looked against Christian Hammer?

We're talking about a fighter, who has very few offensive tools outside of his right hand. His jab is mostly just there to set up his trademark right hand, his footwork is nonexistent and his defense is terrible. All this is why he folded under Fury's calculated pressure. He doesn't have the fundamentals to execute a plan B against high level fighters. There aren't many skilled active HWs, but the important ones are. I don't think he can improve much at his age.

I mean at least Wilder didn’t punk out and quit. Furthermore, AJ isn’t Fury and Ruiz damn sure isn’t Fury.

I have fought so wrong there if aimed at me. It's why I was so disgusted by him saying he wanted a body on his record. A fighter should know better than to disrespect his opponents and the game like that.
