Wilder and Joshua Are Both Flawed

Then why do you defend him 24/7 on here?

- Wilder was hurt by special ed teacher Molina LOL!

- Whyte is better most of Wilders top wins and at the very least par with his best, Wilder turned down a very good offer to fight him.

- 41 year old Wlad is FAR superior than ANYONE Wilder has stepped in with. So bringing up that fact he hurt, dropped and troubled AJ is completely moot.

 

When wilder gets in with someone even close to being as dangerous a fighter as wlad.... Come back!

If Joshua misses wildly and gasses out hard maybe...but he will freeze up like Wlad knowing he is unable to hit the target and just get his head jabbed off.

This. Joshua does have clubbing power and is very good at placing his shots and I also agree that Joshua can finish alot of opponents faster than Wilder. However, I still think his stamina is his achilles hill and will be his downfall against guys with mobility that won't stand in front of him. Wilder isn't going to stand in front of Joshua like he does against Gerald Washington or Spzilka level guys. He'll use his mobility and catch Joshua when he gasss.

Against Stiverne, who is very durable and can punch Wilder utilized his mobility and rocked Stiverne, but Stiverne's survival skills and chin allowed him to survive the round. Joshua's youth saved him in the Wlad fight, but if he gasses against Wilder, Ortiz, or Fury he gets put to sleep.

 

I know you try to belittle Joshua to make Wilder look better than he is but calm down, pull yourself together and try to be a little bit more objective or at least try to be more subtle, you are really not the most intelligent guy.

Joshua was definitely more hurt by Whyte than Wilder was by Molina. Wilder wasn't really hurt by Molina at all.

Against Nichols he slipped over from one of his windmills.

 

Well, Joshua wasn't really hurt, he got wobbled but he was still on his feet, it was not like he got almost knocked down by Whyte whereas Wilder had shaky legs for a couple of seconds, i don't think either one was "badly" hurt
but Wilder was definitely more hurt.

I thought Nichols dropped him with a jab.

 

Technique and Ring IQ goes to Joshua, he's clearly better.

Chin, I really don't place too much emphasis on measuring who's got a better chin, Joshua has been down but he was hit by Wlad and he got up. Wilder's not been tested by a puncher like that yet. So it's not really something worth paying attention to, either way people exaggarate how chinny they are on this forum.

Wilder's more explosive, got better stamina.

 

He clammed up and didn't really recover fully till a few rounds later. If Whyte wasn't gassed out himself and hadn't got a bum shoulder he could have done some damage.
It Joshua gets stunned like that against Wilder is game over.
Even though he's flawed he's still dangerous. Teddy Atlas and Peter Fury will tell you the same.
