Joshua will fight Whyte / Miller and or/ Pulev / H. Fury into 2020 if Wilder doesn't come off.

Wilder will fight Breazeale and maybe Ortiz 2...if he doesn't lose his next fight with Fury.

Haymon wont let Joyce near Wilder should Wilder still have a belt in 2021 which is where you HAVE to actually do the time zone math bc that's when Joyce will have been close to or ranked number one in the WBC.

The odds on Wilder being undefeated in 3 years time is slim but not impossible.

The odds are wilder not fighting Joshua in 3 years time is also slim bc he does not have Joshuas line up of quality opposition.

If Wilder does lose the Fury fight it will actually be easier to make a Joshua fight down the line as Wilder is then forced outside of his Fantasy land thought process.

For both to fight while undefeated the best bet is a fight in 2019. It may very well be to late bc I think Fury probably out points wilder so we wont have to worry about wwho these guys are fighting next and then Joshua can get a Wilder fight in 2020 while he takes care of business in 2019.

This is just my opinion ... I could be wrong/right ... but based on an observation that both Wilder and Joshua have already had fights in which their wins were less than totally convincing against the likes of Szpilka and Parker, I think it would be wrong to assume that Usyk and Hrgovic won't trouble them in future. Joyce/Hrgovic haven't convinced me yet ... but IMO Usyk has. Like Povetkin, I've followed Usyk in the amateurs before he turned pro. IMO Usyk is more of a threat to the title holders than anyone currently highly placed in the current rankings.

I don't think Dychko is going to be an easy fight for anyone, even in the top tier, once he finds his feet as a pro. Martin Bokole and Ajagba are dark horses who look solid at this early stage. It's very early for HWs like Arslanbek Makhmudov but he's someone to follow for now.

Basically, there's a lot of HW's emerging at this stage that look promising, more so than post 2012 IMO. We will see tho.

Povetkin and Ortiz are past prime, as was Wlad and probably Fury. All are meaningful wins, but not as meaningful as a win over any of them a few years back in time.

Late at night here ATM, will think about this more during the day tomorrow.

I do not think the Fury Wilder fight is going to happen. I'm so sick of boxing and the fights we want to see never happen. Fury is to big of a risk to Wilder losing his big payday vs. Joshua. Mark my words the Joshua vs. Wilder fight will never happen either.
