Nothing wrong with what wilder said. Fury talks about coming from a line of fighting people and is applauded for it. Wilder got tired of it and responded. I guesd if wilder said i come from a line of great fighting african american people like ali srr armstrong louis ect ect that would be racist and **** people off to right?

I get that it's selling the fight, but he did seem genuinely to have snapped & it's tasteless, I mean how low do u need to go for the dough bro! Talk about selling your soul! If it's selling the fight then isn't he basically cashing in on historical slavery & racial tension! Cos that's what his narrative was LOL Totally paying homage to the ancestors bro..

I like hearing a boxer say he doesn't want to give money to people hanging around ....he doesn't have an entourage which is very smart.

Nothing wrong with Wilder, I understood exactly what he was saying and I respect his right to say it.

Wilder is cracking me up

All these interviews are hilarious. For some reason I can't take him seriously when he acts like that (and I'm picking him in the fight).

I don't even think his own mother would accuse him of being a smart man.

LOL. I think R-deuce was just trying to be a neutral (fake) news reporter.

Wilder is a professional fighter. He doesnt get paid to speak eloquently on racial and societal issues. He gets paid to bust heads. And he hits plenty hard enough to do it.

As long as hes not being deliberately hateful then I dont see a problem.

Yea he comes off as a little ignorant, but hes far from the first fighter to be so.

I agree with all of this.

Unfortunately, black americans are told they are victims by the democrat party from the moment they are born. So most of them are stuck in this mental prison that they are oppressed and held down, when in reality they are blessed to be born in the USA and better off than any black people in history. I dont blame him for this mindset, because something like 95% of blacks vote for the democrats a party that fought to keep slavery going. They have found a new way of enslaving the black man psychologically. Deontay wasnt born into slavery and nor were his parents or their parents or their parents, but the democrats teach them that they were and the only solution to their problems is to vote democrat. Exhibit A: Deontay Wilder.

The UK is 90% white and the most loved boxer here of the past 30 years have been Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn and Frank Bruno. The most loved current fighter is Anthony Joshua. They all have something in common, Deontay.

I watched the whole video and Radio Raheem asked a dumb question considering who it was directed to. Then he asked Wilder to elaborate on racism in America and seemed surprised that Wilder was unable to give him a scholarly dissertation. Man the guy is pro fighter not some columnist for the New York Times or Washington Post. Give him a break.

Cut it out with the partisan BS. Yes the Republican party was the progressive party during the Civil war. And so what? Parties undergo platform and policy realignments all the time. It's an ongoing process.

The irony of your post is you want people to be less loyal to party lines when you are clearly partisan yourself.

You know you may have had a point about black people being too loyal to the Democratic party during the last few decades. But since Trump has hijacked the Republican party can you really blame them at this point in time for going Democrat? With all his racist rhetoric? Hes the leader of the Republican party who has a blatant history of racist behavior. The Reagan era Republican is dead. They've been pushed out by Trumpism.
