Povetkin must be awesome then. Wawrzyk is not the same since that destruction in 3 rounds.

Yeah, Wilder is a fraud and so is the WBC. I don't know where people get this idea that it is any better than any of the other alphabet belts. In fact, as you suggest, it's probably worse than most of them.

    Recent propaganda.

It has always been WBA #1, WBC #2.

    Currently it is
    1.wbo
    2.ibf
    3.wba
    4. WBC

The wba have no mandatory system and WBC as well they also are slow as hell to strip fighters

Deontay Wilder made clear that if he fights Wladimir Klitschko in a big heavyweight unification match next year, it will be on U.S. soil and not overseas where Klitschko has fought often.

“I have the most prestigious belt in all of boxing,” Wilder said. “I have the goods. I have what he wants. Every fighter wants their name on the WBC belt. I have it, so right now I’m sitting in the driver’s seat. If he wants to fight, he’s definitely going to come here to America. That way when I take all the belts, it will be rightfully at home.”

    :rofl

That is arguably the greatest demonstration of chicken dancing of all time. Wawrzyk is packing even more glass in his mandible than Wilder is lol.

Yep, it appears so. There's definitely something dodgy in the tap water over there.

Roll back a couple of years.

"I'm a traveller, a global fighter, I fight anywhere all over the world that's how you become legendary. You become legendary by not being afraid to go into enemy territory when the time comes or when duty calls.

    ---Deontay Wilder

I actually thought he might be prepared to go to Moscow to face Povetkin after seeing the second quote of his I posted and given how much money was on the table but I'm doubtful now after reading his recent quotes about fighting B-Side Wlad.

They are all crooked, I was just referring from a historical significance view.

WBA is the oldest of the organizations and has the longest list of great champions carrying the belt. It has always brought the most prestige historically.

Of course, today WBA is as corrupt as any other org. They basically invent new belts and sell them for money (to Sturm for example). Sometimes they mandate the challengers to WBA "regular" champions, sometimes they skip the regular titlist and mandate them for "super" champions (for example Klitschko vs. Fury, allowing K2 more control than WBO would have). Sometimes they don't care to enforce any mandatories (Ward for example). If Sturm defeated Chudinov, they would have stripped Ward and elevated Sturm to full champ so he could make the big fight with Abraham.

WBC on the other hand just seems like a low level belt, mostly favoring Mexicans (and Americans) because they are basically a Mexican organization. I don't even want to get into that lower classes circus they are doing. At HW, you had Arreola fighting for a vacant belt, then you had Wilder mysteriously becoming a mandatory after beating Scott, and who knows what is exactly going on with the Povetkin situation.

WBO is heavily influenced by Bob Arum, and are still doing favors to Frank W. because of their good relationship.

IBF is at least doing a solid job with their mandatories, but let's not a ranking bribing scandal that happened not that long ago.

Neither organization works transparently, and none of them actually have a clear set of rules that aren't prone to manipulation.

Wilder is scouring the earth looking for the worst opponent that he can find, and get away with being allowed to fight. This pathetic and sad.
