I agree. Arreola at his best is a nightmare matchup for Wilder, possibly even the version who fought against Stiverne and Mitchell. But coming off of that loss he's looked completely finished. Styles make fights. Just because Stiverne beat Arreola and lost to Wilder doesn't mean that Arreola doesn't have a better chance at getting the job done himself.

Wilder is not an in fighter. also he is not terribly difficult to get inside on.

Yep. There's a reason he's facing these backfoot fighters, he wants NOTHING to with pressure fighters nor anyone with a good inside game. Duhaupas, Stiverne, and Scott are all of the same mold as far as Wilder's people are concerned, Stiverne was the risk considering he can punch a bit but other than that he's very much like Scott, and Duhaupas, even worse in some ways.....

    Duhaupas is a front-foot fighter.

Go watch any fight other than Charr and you'll see. He gave up ground to Charr because he had to, and because holding his ground against a somewhat similar fighter, Teper, in his previous outing didn't work well. But watch his other fights and you'll see he is a primarily front-foot guy.

    Nice theory, though.

Who would you say pose the biggest threats to Wilder in that way? I'd pick Povetkin to beat him, because he can fight that way and just appears to be a level above Wilder. I'd give Takam a great chance. Jennings is not really a pressure fighter though, he might beat Wilder (you're probably much more confident of that than I am) but not for that reason. Same for Pulev and Fury. Chisora's probably the most pressure fighter of the other top 15 I'm thinking of off the top of my head, and a year ago I would have picked Chisora, but now I don't think Chisora has the power or is high level enough to capitalize on this weakness.
