We all "don't" because his resume isn't ****. He is one of the most successful defending heavyweight champions in boxing history (five-year reign, 10 successful title defenses.) He's ranked in the top 10 all-time in an assortment of categories.

And if someone fights Bud Crawford three times and floors him four times and successfully defends his title against Bud, is his resume ****? If someone fights Bivol three times and floors him four times and successfully defends against Bivol, is his resume ****? If someone fights Canelo three times, floors him four times and successfuly defends against Canelo, is his resume ****?

Seriously, some of you need to have a total RESET when it comes to your opinions.

Also, the reason Wilder's the favorite over Parker, even though Parker is probably going to outweigh him by 30 pounds or more ... is because Wilder is arguably the greatest puncher in heavyweight history, is always in shape, doesn't take a lot of punches, and has stopped three of his last four opponents (Helenius, Ortiz, Breazeale) with one punch.

He can end a fight instantly ... unlike any heavyweight before him.

Wilder is the most dangerous heavyweight alive. He hasn't outweighed an opponent in 11 years, consistently gives up often significant weight to his opponent, and yet we all know he can stop anyone in the blink of an eye with that right hand, Parker included.

Parker ranks nowhere for me. So no.

Still, Wilder hasn't won a fight that matters this decade so it's big news for him and might get him in shape for something meaningful.

There are several reasons he's favourite...

    1) He's American, which we all know is a huge advantage.
    2) He usually wins by KO (95%+), where Parker's KO% is much lower (more like 65%).
    3) He held a belt for much, much longer.

Of course, none of these things mean he's actually a better boxer, and resumes very much say otherwise... But when it comes to overhyped fighters, it's not always rational but they get favoured anyway.

Again we are talking resume wise, not who on paper was somehow a better fighter.
And to be fair i would have favor the Parker of AJ fight, as i'm not 100% sure how solid his chin still is, after the Joyce fight.
But he seems a shadow of the fighter he was. He had such a great potential back then, and was so young. He literally start going backwards.

It would be his best win by a country mile.

Who better? Stivern? Ortiz? GTFOH (said in a friendly way).
