Did Parker have a warp drive?

Not into boxers making excuses like true champions are gracious in victory and in defeat, but they are a dying breed.
The truth is just the verbatim and nonsense keeps people talking and keeps them from dropping off the radar.
I think it would ruin his legacy if he actually had one, fought no one of any quality until fury and was well beaten, and only took the fight because of fury’s physical state.
Absolutely kidnapped a belt one of the worst heavyweight champions of all time, long may he be forgotten.
    Good riddance

I heard his trainers were using the wrong brand of Qtip in Deontay’s corner between rounds as well. This along with the factors you mentioned were a perfect storm that led to Deontay’s loss. Nothing at all to do with bring mollycoddled, old, untested and having shithouse boxing skills.

I could forgive Wilder's lack of skills if he were to simply man up and accept his loses.

Professional football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer teams, along with golfers are constantly flying all over the place to compete. Then there's all those olympic sports too where people are competing all over the world. Also, airplane travel is not a new invention. The idea that you couldn't have a simple plan to deal with the jet lag and get to saudi well in advance, or that a single plane ride would somehow zap all your strength and turn you into a gun-shy zombie in the ring is idiotic. You're a professional athlete competing at an elite level. There should be no excuses.

Exactly - levels is why he lost.

And failure to try and fight decent fighters is one potential reason he never went up the levels.

If he had any sense he'd parrot his fans and say he's just shot and doesn't have the speed and snap he used to... At least then it'd be easier for them to excuse his awful performance.
But then he doesn't have any sense, and thinks people will fall for stupid excuses - and in his defence, they're desperate to and they do

A comeback fight where he fights a typical Wilder journeyman and scores an early rounds KO is almost the worst thing he could do for his fading mirage/legacy.

True champions will fight legit contenders, not run miles from them and spend 4-5 years feasting on journeymen and an occasional gatekeeper.

Wilder was only ever a super protected champion with a god-complex - the cognitive dissonance in believing you're the best of your era and at the same time running hard from the likes of Whyte and Povetkin, to say nothing of avoiding a decent but very unspecial unified champion in Joshua.

To be honest though, this is exactly the kind of crap I've come to expect from Wilder.

Has anyone looked into the decibel levels of his entrance music? I'm guessing he was hypnotized into submission by the music, another obvious factor for his loss.

Age is the main factor. It's possible he went easier on the PEDs too, thinking he'd KO Parker quite easily. Let's not forget on this site alone most thought he'd KO Parker quite easily. It was only after he didn't that Parker became an elite boxer again.
Interesting fight to make now would be Joyce Wilder, but Joyce is facing the sparring partner who was biting Price to get DQ'd.

Wilder always has an excuse for losing. This is not a good look for him.
