This. $15 million flat is an awful offer considering this is easily the most lucrative fight in boxing right now. Hearn clearly didn't want the fight. If he gave Wilder 40-50% the fight would be very easy to make. I'm actually surprised Finkel let Wilder even consider such an awful offer, since only chumps let themselves get lowballed.

So it was another flat fee offer? Heran knows damn well Wilder and his team won't accept a flat fee. So ask yourself why Hearn refuses to give Wilder a percentage cut.

You don't get fights of this magnitude made with flat fee offers. Hearns is taking the fans for a ride here

Yes it will be easy to sell out an arena in April, but how is this even relevant? They could sell an arena out any day of the year, so doing so next April isn’t any different.

 

Other than the fact that Finkel tweeted they accepted the flat offer
