Fury beat the hell outta Wilder and Wilder gave him his due, accept what he stated and move on. But too many dumbass miserable trolls agenda havers and straight up haters here for that to happen. They still feel the need to call him dumb saying he didn't write it or can't speak, some deep hate going on here.
I don't think he wrote it. But someone close to him did, and that's okay. We shall see in time if Wilder really admits he wasn't beaten by a better man, and we will learn in time whether or not he still insists on his slanders and conspiracies. Remember, this isn't just about accepting defeat or congratulating an opponent. This is all provoked by about 12 months of insane slanders against Fury and a load of other people. Some really crazy **** went down, coming out of Wilder's mouth and some internet conspiracy nuts who encouraged the madness. Then again, it's all kind of funny anyway.
No. It's an opinion. Obviously. My opinion is this is too little, too late, but like you say there's no point in sour grapes. Wilder will always be remembered for the heart he showed in this fight, but the undercurrent will be that he was a **** human being.
If you are talking about the fake steroids bust, no, he isn't. He never served a minute suspension for steroids, but for cocaine, which they retroactively called a steroids time-served suspension to save face, because they had no explanation for why they didn't act for 16 months and let a title fight happen after an alleged failed test. Fury was good to go along with it, because he got of Scott free, basically.
