We see in his latest videos that Wilder and his team still seem to want to come into the heaviest ring possible. As a reminder, he climbed to almost 230 lbs in his last fight, his heaviest weight in his career and more than 18 lbs heavier than in the first fight. As for Joshua, I told you that it was a very bad strategy and that his healthy weight was around 220 lbs.

If they make the same mistake again, they shoot themselves in the foot.

"As I always say, these guys have to be perfect for 12 rounds, I only need to be perfect for two seconds, and then in the blink of an eye it's bam baby, goodnight!

Wilder talks nonsense much of time, but the above still holds true, ok it is his one and only weapon, but if it hits the target then it short circuits the electrics of his opponent.

I do think Fury will beat Wilder again, however Wilder pushed for the fight despite likely being offered good step aside dollars, so guess he does fancy his chances.

Regarding the weight bulk up or not issue, i would say forget bulking up as he is never going to gain enough to compete with Fury in the weight stakes or for the bulking to give him any advantage, so if gains few pounds that's fine, otherwise stick to his normal fight weight and pray to whatever sky pixie he worships, that he can land a bomb or two on Furys balding head or in fact any part of Fury above the waist, windmill for all he is worth from first bell his only hope.

No way you can add muscle doing crappy movements like that with half the gym to help you. And the fight's like a month away. The only thing Wilder will be adding is wear and tear to his rotator cuffs.

Got to go for fast and sharp. In the long term probably needs to get heavier and change his style. But for fury...he,ll never outstrength him. Why even try.

Its a big task ahead...i reckon its his feet he needs to improve against fury. Wilders not actually a bad mover. Although fury getting off first messed him up that last fight. He needs to do similar to what tank does...edge forward...letting fury throw...trying to defuse it...before throwing his shots. He wont get off first on fury...furys footwork to good. Needs to give up getting off first...and concentrate on manoevere fury before letting his hands go. Only really needs one shot. His problems been hes trying to compete with fury with things furys clearly better at.

Trying to get off first. Stop trying and start concentrate on catching and evading the best he can while edging forward with his feet. Needs to be efficient with his punches.

He did better in the first fight at a lighter weight. I think he is at his best under 220. At 230 or 231 in the rematch he was sluggish and lethargic. He will always be significantly outweighed by Fury and can't hope to win by muscling him inside. I think he needs to stay light and quick to match Fury's speed. He needs to improve on the inside with shorter and crisper hooks and uppercuts like we have seen him appear to work on.

i think getting big is a mistake, he already hits hard and nearly turned out Fury's lights at a lighter weigh in. How much power do they think they can add by lifting?

but was fury at his best the first fight? i dont think so the dude lost like what? over 140 pounds and had spin class ben as his coach lol so i think it's safe to assume that was a weak fury.

    1. You sidestepped my specific question, which means you can't point to another incidence where someone has been so dominated in the first two fights and won the third.

    2. Fury has already proven that "one punch" is not going to do it to him. Wilder couldn't plant him deep enough.

You won't allow your eyes to believe what we all saw, a hail mary shot from Wilder isn't gonna work. He has no chance.

Richard Dwyer is not short. He is 6'2''.

The Twitter thread also makes no sense, as Dwyer could be making excuses for his lack of reflexes etc.

Presumably because he knows he didn't have enough to KO Fury in the first - if a KO is his only path to victory, and it near enough is, then he needs to make sure it counts if he lands it.

More speed would give him more chance of landing, but less power would mean it's probably not enough again, especially since Fury got up and dominated him after taking it last time.

More power might decrease his chances of landing it, but if it means that punch actually has enough impact then perversely it might actually give him a better chance of winning?!

lol, let that puch land the first or second round and not the 11th, man, and then we talk. Saying that a puncher like wilder has no chances is not knowing the sport.
