Thought I heard him say 310 at the end there. Didn't bother counting the plates. Either way terrible technique lol
You are correct I listened to it again, he said 310! Assuming that is accurate, I would say it means he could have done a little more than 275...With proper form. While an average man can do ~ 160 correctly, for a modern day HW it is completely unremarkable.
The real question should be why is he only bulking up his upper half, won’t that tire his legs out on the ring walk?
He can’t match Fury for size and any attempt to do so will simply erode his own natural athleticism reducing his speed and reactions. IMO he’d be better off coming in around 215lbs and trusting his athletic instincts rather than trying to force an unnatural size upon himself because that coupled with tactics that are too new to him to be instinctively reactionary will just see him drowned in waters in which Fury is the apex predator! I can’t see him winning either way but his best, one and only chance is to be sharp enough to deliver a straight or roundhouse overhand Hail Mary mother of god right hand that Fury hasn’t seen coming!
Dumb idea. He is already inaccurate, now he'll be slower. Fury wearing a Cheshire Cat grin reading this.
