Thing is, would Wilder afford Fury more than 6 weeks' notice?

 

It's easy to talk tough when you know someone is committed to fighting someone else and literally can't call your bluff. That said he might be trying to put the povetkin fight off again with a unification. I wouldn't be surprised to see him want to fight Fury or more likely Glazkov ahead of Sasha.

Anyway... Tyson should announce a fight after winning the Wlad rematch. Then two weeks before the fight date offer Wilder $250,000 to take him on. That seems fair to me.

 

I would love to see this fight.

Nah if I was fury what I'd say to wilder is your not a real champion I see no value in fighting you. Fight povetkin first to legitimise yourself,until then you a joke i . My eyes and a paper champion and don't deserve a crack at the real crown

Can you see Wilder manning up and facing Povetkin (and allowing Povetkin 10-12 weeks' notice)? Or will Haymon pay Povetkin to step aside, thereby ensuring Wilder can defend against Palookaville stiffs for a while longer?

We all know Wilder won't vacate the WBC belt, as long as he can milk the easy title defences.

Povetkin is getting overrated for beating the likes of Charr, Wach & Perez all just B & C level guys, remember he was dominated by the much bigger Wlad, I see Wilder & Fury dominating him in a similar way.
