I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder gets high, then does these call outs while he is buzzing big time.

AJ has not one but two mandatories lined up Pulev and Ortiz they both want the next match. It's been long stated that Pulev will get it and if not Joshua would be stripped.
Wilder knows this. Which makes what he is saying even worse.
    A total sham

If Wilder beats Ortiz and AJ takes care of Pulev, then why not?

At this point though, I won't believe Wilder takes a fight like this until the bell rings.

They claim to be working on a deal which would see Wilder face Ortiz next (even though Stiverne is his mandatory) and then AJ. There's enough red tape to prevent this from happening this year, which is why Wilder is running his mouth.

It's normal self promotion, can't really blame Wilder for doing what pretty much every boxer HAS to do, particularly if at the top of any division. Boxers need people to write articles and talk about them, that is just common sense. That fact that is just vacuous smoke blowing is irrelevant.

Lets also face it, if he wasn't calling out AJ he would be rightly criticised for that also!

Maybe so but no other boxers out there do it quite like this guy,I'm actually warming to him with each passing vid about the next big announcement, there's an endearing quality to him, somewhere between a jack Russel and an old black Labrador.
He'd make a great pantomime villain as the guy can really act,Frank Bruno should be looking over his shoulder lol

Actually if you unify belts, sanctioning bodies will let you delay your mandatory.

to me Joshua is physically stronger than Wilder. That is the key.. I think Wilder might be faster, but eventually Joshua knocks out Wilder.

no problem with wilder and team wilder calling joshua out
i want to see the fight

strange thing is team wilder have no intrest whatsoever that i have ever seen of coming up with the cash to make the fight happen

they want team AJ to pay them while they count the money

they have to make it financially viable for team AJ to take the risk of a wilder fight

by turning down the whyte fight and fighting in alabama team AJ will say out of sight out of mind.

i would like to see AJ v wilder at wembley / not pulev who is now a saftey first jab and hold fighter

Everyone knows that Joshua has two mandatories and that is the reason Wilder is called Joshua out. No way will Wilder come near Joshua. Joshua would knock Joshua out and Joshua knows it, but more important.........Haymon knows it, so Wilder will fight Stiverne next, then another voluntary title defense against another wino.............Haymore appears to tell the WBC what to do........

Nothing wrong with calling out a fighter if that fighter and yourself are available to actually fight soon. Very different if a fighter calls out a fighter knowing full well there are a ton of obstacles preventing that fight from happening anytime soon. That's the difference and that's why Wilder is taking so much heat for this.
