Wilder claims Fury 1 is one of his best knockouts ever

Everyone knows I am OG Deontay hater, and I think his entire career is a fraud and a joke, but in all fairness, he is not the first fighter to think and say ridiculous nonsense to protect his ego.

The accusations of loading the gloves and the like...that pissed me off and he ought to be sued for libel. This...meh. Let him have his delusions. He is a loser and likely done until a couple fo years from now when he is broke.

Exactly, you'd believe suprised how delusional athletes can be, especially boxers. But then again a little part of that is what drives them to reach a high level.

 

I wish when fury got up in that first fight that he did it in the style of the undertaker and his music played. Would have been golden

 

Fights today get stopped for much much less than that.
Reiss handled it well imo but if I was Wilder as any boxer would,it would be easy to create a scenario where you would be hard done or at least where Reiss handled the situation totally in Fury’s favour.

 

He mispronounced knockdowns…

 

Pros for KO - it looked violent
- you can argue the count
Pros for KD - if you watch the replays, when the ref is over Fury and counting, Gipsy King is looking straight in to the ref's eyes and seemed very conscious/aware.
- his body language and interaction with the ref. while he stands up and listens to the indications looks more then ok.(this is supported by the way the fight develops from this point on.)

I disnt claim he was roght btw but merely placed myself into his line of thinking.
With Ortiz he was never laying motionless on the canvas like a cadaver by the count of 5 where 8/10 refa stop it.
