Not a trick question but does anyone know if or why Wilder didn't say anything until the 7th round? And it was petty stuff with little input like age is just a number and Wlads corner needs him to work more. It was almost like he couldn't break down the fight or give a real solid basis for any viewer.... This shows me he really has a low IQ for the game. Was he on different broadcast too beyond sky? I saw this fight ABOUT 30 times and just noticed this BC I watch with no sound....lol
Wilder has Trumpesque verbal ability - i.e. very little. Sky probably told him he was just there to make a brief appearance and to shut the **** up as much as he can.
Wilder isn't the most eloquent speaker, there were times his commentary was so incoherent I honestly didn't know what point he was trying to make. But to be fair to him, I assume this was the first time he had ever commentated on a fight.
His input was spot on. Wlad despite his power, jab, and timing, which are top notch he isn't great at adapting or consistently applying pressure. Those two qualities that Wlad lacked would've led him to victory against Joshua and possibly Fury. This is also why Gassiev even in 2012 said Wlad fighting Wilder would've been a big mistake for Wlad and that Wilder's size and unpredictability would result in Wlad going negative like he later did against Fury.
