It’s pretty standard for the A-side to have a rematch clause. That’s just common business sense and not unique to Eddie Hearn.

Jesus... that’s my POINT. It was ARRANGED AND APPROVED BY WILDER. Juicesha would never agree to it. He only allowed Wlad in the ring because he knows Wlad is respectful and a gentleman so they could do their cringey bro fist.

I did see an interview where he said he was open to it, so it's not something he's totally against, but then we are left with the same situation. Wilder asks for something, Hearn agrees, then nothing happens from Wilder's people to move it beyond talk in the media.

Fact is neither side is pushing hard for the fight to be made at the moment. Hearn is still focused on Parker, Wilder is just flapping his lips to get attention while arranging fights with Breazeale or Kownacki.

I guess after Parker is done with, we'll see what either side actually does. Will Hearn make an offer or at least try to restart negotiations, will Wilder's people even respond or continue setting up a fight with Breazeale or Kownacki while calling out Joshua.

Becuase Joshua doesnt want a WWE moment and wants to relish in his victory and enjoy the hard work he has put in, that means hes a douche?

WWE Raw is on Sky, catch it there.

Why would Joshua allow Wilder in the ring, the bloke or his reprisentitives have not been prepared to sit down and begin talks about a fight. All Wilders done is tweet crap and bloat his own self esteem at Joshua’s expense via a multitude of videos accross social media.

Wladimir Klitschko had negotiated and signed to fight Joshua and his ring appearance was to announce the fight to the 80,000 fans who were there at the stadium.

When Wilder gets serious and realistic about making the fight and his representatives actually sit with Hearn to thrash out the details then maybe Joshua will pay attention to him, until then he’s entitled to nothing!

    It doesn't make it right.
It's fairly standard to have scorecards that favour the hometown fighter and box office favourite. That's business sense too. Kinda stinks though, doesn't it?

Yeah it's not something that is always right. But then again sometimes it actually does benefit boxing. Look at what happened to Lewis, lost to McCall and was frozen out for years. Then lost to Rahman and if it wasn't for the rematch clause Rahman would of ducked Lewis and fought David Izon of all people. Lewis had to take Rahman to court to enforce a rematch.

Or when Foreman beat Moorer, instead of being forced into a rematch he took a bunch of safe defences against Schultz and Grimsley. Sometimes a rematch clause can be a good thing if the winning fighter looks to take a safe path.

Hearn already addressed this in his last interview with Michelle Phelps.

No such offer from Wilder's camp in writing.

it really isn't as simple as that.. But can I ask you a question..

Why haven't Team Wilder offered Joshua money?

Why haven't they said here is an offer of "whatever" to come to America and fight Wilder?

They can suggest a venue they can fill in the USA and then they can sell the tickets. They come up with something.

Wouldn't it be a lot simpler that way? But you know the answer to that and so they they and so do I.

The reason I ask it because they keep mentioning splits and money, what they are willing and not willing to do but the reality is they are the ones with their little hands out like self entitled beggars.

I dont think there was much let involved lol. Fury just got drunk in new York and went over to the stadium talking crap.
I doubt it was negotiated before hand . wilder didn't say ' fury you cant have anymore than 10 drinks and 2 lines of coke before entering the ring'
