Wilder did far better against Fury than Wlad

Wlad looked like a scared fool, threw no punches and got his face shredded to pieces. There is a legit argument for Wlad losing every round. Wilder fought like a warrior and almost KO'd the best HW boxer on the planet by far.

We all know Wilder lost the fight, but what does it mean for Wilder's legacy that he outperformed Wlad against Fury?

I disagree, there was far less action versus Wlad & Fury was fighting more off the back foot & backing up versus Wlad more too.. Against Wilder he was taking centre ring more & pressing the action plus he hadn't been on a 3 year cocaine hiatus & was active having BATTERED Chisora a second time not long before... WK v Fury was a stinker though.

    I had WK v Fury 8-4.

Wilder v Fury 9-3 at best.

Klitschko is a more accomplished HW than Wilder ever will be! Fury is just a nightmare style & unique talent..

Wilder performed better then 40 year old Wlad. Good for him. I'm pretty sure he is also better then 40 year old Tyson and 40 year old Ali.

Wlad wasn't 40. I think you're confusing the unbeaten longtime champ Fury beat with the inactive loser that nearly KO'd AJ.

    Nothing, I don't think.
    Different styles.
    Styles make fights.

D Alexander outperformed F Mayweather against Maidana, and Mayweather had 2 fights with maidana.
Doesn't change the legacy of either.

It was only the kds that makes me think you are saying this about wilder who was against a different Fury to the one Wladimir fought who had been more active overall.

Yeah but also a lesser version of fury. Fury has more work to do before he gets all the way back, at 30 I'm not even sure if it's possible because eventually any further progress in training will get under cut by the aging process

I don't think Fury was as good as he was against Wlad.

Wilder is maybe stylistically worse for Fury though.

And Alexander Povetkin (Wladimir Klitschko's leftover) performed far better against Johann Duhaupas than Wilder did. So what exactly is your point?

First let's see how Wilder does at age 39, before we perform a like for like comparison, shall we?
