Wilder ducking Povetkin is pathetic

Wilder ain't a bad hw. But he must realise he holds the title and he's gonna have to face all comers. Top 10 you know we gotta meet em' he says it in his sobg

people need to stop shooting the messenger - promoters and fighters are only manipulating what they are allowed to manipulate

 

That belt will get him a klitchko fight, when povetkin deserves the rematch above anyone else.

Wilder/Fury makes too much sense not to happen this year.

But nobody is mistaken... everyone can agree that Povetkin is the #2 Heavyweight.

It is all about maximizing revenue so his team must have confidence in both his short and long term future.

I agree though. 10 million is way too much to turn down without looking scared of the match up.

If Wilder doesn't fight Wlad or Fury this year, you can complain all you want. He will get a big paycheck no matter which big name he fights, so $10m is irrelevant when it comes to choosing opponents. It's not like he will get $500k for fighting Wlad or Fury.

Plus he can still fight Povetkin even if he loses to Wlad, but if he loses to Povetkin, he won't get a shot against Wlad.

 

How is he ducking? Dude, he's only had the title for TWO WEEKS!

Not in Moscow he doesn't. He'd soil his pants walking ínto an arena of 25,000 chanting Soviet fans.

 

So what, how long does he have to hold it before signing his next fight? No one is saying he needs to fight next month, but to reject a huge offer......it's weak.
