If Whyte beats Parker I don’t think anyone can debate he deserves a title shot. He’s been 1 with WBC for a year or so now.

I think our scoring is as honest as anyone's myself.
Whyte v Parker is a 50/50 fight for me.If we then get AJ vPovetkin and Miller v Pulev ,things will begin to sort themselves out.
I expect Wilder to fight and beat Breazeale, then take on another dangerous opponent such as Fres Oquendo,orVictor Ustinov, all the while claiming on social media everyone is afraid of him!

I don't need to. I watched Eddie Hearn on IFL say that the offer was genuine and now Joshua had to decide whether to fight or not.
    Joshua chose not to.

If half of what Wilder has to say in that interview is genuine then it's fairly damning.

“In the contract he sent, there was no date, no venue,” said Wilder. “If I beat Joshua, they get a rematch, but if they beat me, it’s up to him. Just a bunch of bogus things.”

An industry source with knowledge of negotiations verified Wilder’s claims. “A lot of aspects in the deal were basically non-starters. There was no venue and no date and the rest leaned heavily in their favour. Joshua was definitely interested in Wilder’s offer. Who wouldn’t be? It was a $50 million base plus upside, so it was a huge win-win for him. I’m not sure why it didn’t get off the ground, but he was very interested.”

If the above statement is true then Hearn's been playing silly buggers and I don't blame Wilder in the slightest for now taking a hard line 50-50 stance.

Both sides are full of you know what. We have to take what both sides representives say with a pinch of salt. They’re both understandably trying to get the best deals for their respective fighters. I don’t believe Wilder or AJ are frightened of each other or ducking each other at all. They just want to squeeze this for every pound they can.

The references to Wilder fighting a load of bums is a bit harsh. It was Povetkin who let him down. Ortiz was considered one of the best around right up to that first bell and then it was ‘he just beat an old man’ stuff. Up until recently, the heavyweight scene wasn’t dripping with talent, now it’s really hotting up. Whether Wilder is just a big ducker can only be judged in the next couple of years because there is now an abundance of big fights.

Absolutely and this is also WHY AJ doesn't need Wilder just yet.
He has OPTIONS: face Whyte if he beats Parker, Jarrell Miller in the States on DAZN, Povetkin, Fury next year. AJ's schedule is loaded even without Wilder.

Maybe true but there is only 1 fight we all want to see at the moment and that is Wilder

Wilder needs to recognize he's the B-side and things will go smoother from there. At this moment he's very confused and acting delusional.
Funny how Hearn got deals done with Don King for Molina, Haymon for Breazeale, Loeffler for GGG and Higgins for Parker but with Wilder it seems impossible.

Frankly Wider is a liar and I don't believe anything he says. He sat on the contract for 2 weeks.
Hearn and AJ would much rather face him and become undisputed than face Povetkin, a fight will generate less money.

Now they are stuck facing Povetkin because Wilder took his sweet time.

Only the Povetkin fight hasn't been finalised yet has it, despite being touted by Matchroom as some impending 24hr deal that was really, truly getting in the way of Saint Joshua....

Also, why hasn't Saint Joshua himself responded personally to all this, via an interview.

It will be signed and announced soon. I believe Povetkin is also #1 by WBO. I don't think Joshua plans to drop his WBA belt and duck Povetkin, that would be shocking.
