Well I certainly hope so. Any alligence I may have had towards him at the start of his career has been utterly erased by the AJ fanbois on here...
Hahahaha!! I think it's hilarious. Fury beat an ATG on a 12 year win streak and hasn't got the hype Joshua has. It will come crashing down in April
In other words we wont see this fight until 2020 if Fury takes a few fights beforehand ? Thats a year which brings us to 2018 . Then in that year Wilder will fight Whyte or whoever ,take another voluntary , stretch that out until 2019 . Fury will have another leave of absence by then and will comeback in 2020 where if the stars line up they could fight . lol
This is actually a very intriguing fight IF it happens soon (like 2018 at least ) What i posted is extreme but not improbable , i wonder if Wlads rematch claus has any meaning still ? I also want to see if Wilder bulks to 240 like he said he plans . The thing about Fury is not being in shape year round will shorten his career ,hes naturally heavy like 300 pounds even if he late 20's . The two styles would be entertaining , i wouldn't pick a winner right now . Wilder gets SLIGHTLY better each fight and Fury is a question mark unless we actually see him fight . I had Fury as the favorite before he fell off ,but we'll see.
If Fury gets his head right and zoned in on boxing... He can be a big problem for Heavyweights. He does seem to rise to the occasion for big fights. His awkward style can be complimented with improving a few things and then he's going to beat a lot of top guys. I think he'll knockout Wilder in 5
Fury is one of those guys who can only get motivated for big challenges and fights to the level of his opponent. This may be his downfall in future, but I think for fights like Wilder and Joshua you would see the best Fury. I don't think he's going to get motivated for a rematch where he was originally the winner, and so this situation with maybe not having to fight Klitschko ago kinda works out for him.
My friend who ive sparred with in the past can take a decent punch ( though journeyman caliber) , he said he was never hit by a stronger punch than wilder, he said he never saw it. This is what makes Wilder dangerous ,not exactly the power but the awkward angles you don't see them. Im not sure fury takes him out that quick, here's the thing BOTH like to fight going backwards and circling, so im not even sure how to access this match and who plays aggressor, my guess is Wilder since he is the power one shot power fighter. we will see. Fury dictates fights with the long jab ,wilder more movements, this would be a good fight . Wilder is not easy to fight, however IF fury jabs to that body and pushes him backwards he will then have an easy fight, wilders easily pushed and has to reset, his wide leg stance allows this. No one has actually done it on a large scale. Fury with that 85 inch reach would be crazy not to see this .
Agreed. Although I really wanted to see that Klitschko rematch and how Fury was going to try and deal with a much more aggressive Wladimir. I was actually betting on Wlad in that fight. And I know Fury's feints and awkwardness had Wlad tentative, but we saw Wlad opening up in that 12th and I'm pretty sure he knows he would have had to continue that in their 2nd fight. He also felt Fury's power and while it's respectable... I don't think Wlad would be that wary of it to the point of not letting his hands go. Emanuel Steward was yelling from the other side during that fight. Lol! "Let your shots GO!!!"
Oh Wilder can crack. No doubt about it. But I still say the hardest puncher in the game today is Wlad when he really commits and sits on his shots. I chatted with a guy that sparred a lot of rounds with both Wlad and Lewis (mostly Wlad) and he said Wladimirs shots had more impact. Fury went 12 with Wlad and stayed upright after some decent shots. I don't see Wilder knocking him out or out boxing a motivated Fury. It will be a fun fight though either way.
It's cute that Fury fans are so confident given that he's 300 plus pounds and is acting mentally destroyed. If he fights Wilder, there's going to be a lot of drama in his life. Do you really want that? I would love for Fury to be there if AJ is preoccupied with mandatories but I doubt it for a comeback fight. I'll have to see Fury in shape to believe this. Unlike that Wlad, Wilder would be coming to fight and KO and will throw punches.
That happened I don't know how many times for Wlad, he really needed that in that fight. Was watching Wlad/Brock recently and it happened, then he went in there, and knocked him out cold.
