    Wow
    I know fanboys gonna fanboy
    But I mean really
Wilder played his fans the way he knew they would eat it up
    Take the 50 million doe
The fact that team Wilder cancelled the meeting is absolutely ridiculous
Even more ridiculous are the Wilder fanboys acting like AJ is ducking and wanting
"no smoke" because they wouldnt accept the 50 million

I think it's obviously that Wilder don't have 50 million but this fight can generate $40-60 million in the US, so Wilder's team just wants to make the fight in the USA where Wilder will have advantages. Of course if this fight gets less than 50 million, Wilder's team will receive loss of money, but if WIlder becomes the undisputed world champion in heavyweight, he very quickly compensates for these losses.

    You've changed your tune.....

    @GK BOX (Just Yesterday)

"Wilders 50 million guarantee to AJ has the boxing world spinning
Maybe the fight happens next ??? Or soon ???

Now imagine Wilder puts AJ to sleep. AJ is only a slight favorite so it’s very possible that can happen

Where will all the Wilder haters go? And I mean Wilder gets ridiculous hate on this forum, more than GGG who is also repeatedly ridiculed. Just Wilder gets the most hate.

    What will they say:
AJ was a glass jaw bum who never beat anybody ?
    Weak era?
    Lol lol"

    My tune is the same
I still think Wilder poses a threat to AJ
I just find it comical how some of these fans are running with this 50 million while team
    Wilder cancels a meeting

Its all looking even more fishy than when the news 1st broke about their offer. Still i am holding out hope, that 50 mill offer was for later in the year so if Wilder is facing Breazeale in June there is still time to fit the Joshua fight in later in the year, i dont see the Dom fight being proof the AJ fight wouldnt happen. Im also sure Al Haymon can cough up the kind of money he is talking about. Its not money he could ever recoup in 1 fight against Joshua but if he believes in his Boxer and his Boxer beats the Brit that money will be recouped over time as Wilder will become a big money star. But it some huge gamble, if Joshua smashed him up in that fight and Wilder lost Haymon would really struggle to make that money back in the rest of Wilders career. Huge gamble.

But refusing to write up a contract, canceling meetings and refusing to reshedule, not telling Eddie or Anthony what when or where or any other details is just wrong, thats not how Boxing works, we know it, Eddie knows it, even the likes of Winkle and Haymon know this. There is not a single scenario where people can look at what team Wilder are doing and say it makes any sense or smart move.

I honestly don't know what to believe.

We don't really have any more proof that Hearn sincerely offered Wilder $12.5M, or that Team Wilder actually canceled the meeting, do we? We're just taking Hearn's word, aren't we? Although I suppose I don't hear any denials from Team Wilder so far.

In short, I agree that $50M sounds ludicrous, but then I also think Hearn is a snake and I'm loath to trust anything he says.

Wilder's team basically admitted that they had that offer, they just consider it a very poor one. It was.

Unfortunately the $50 million offer seems to be even more bogus. No contract was sent so in a sense it doesn't even exist.

Both Wilder and Joshua's teams are playing games I'm afraid, the fight happens at the end of the year or next year.

Is 12.5mill more than what Parker got, strikes me as a pretty serious amount f money for someone used to making just one million a time.
Not sure any of AJs opponents can turn round and say they were had,Charles Martin literally sold the belt and I reckon a lot of numbers get exaggerated anyway.
If you look at Hagler v Leonard purses I don’t think the moneys gone up much in boxingif at all.

For how colossal the fight could be, it would be stupid to accept $12.5M.

They could potentially double that if the fight is received well and Wilder gets even a low percentage.

A percentage is the way to go. It’s standard for big fights.

Hard to say, maybe it was a bit more IMHO. But like all other major fights, this fight won't be made without a percentage split, and Hearn knows this. The fight could well do over $50 million, leaving $12.5 milion as a 20-25% share or thereabouts. Wilder is the B side, but has enough leverage to get more than that.

Yeah I guess 30-38% would be pretty reasonable
