You've got to be kidding me. Even if he was going to lose that fight, he would have been $5mil richer which would be worth receiving virtually any beating that doesn't impair you long-term. He has a disabled daughter and prepared intensely for the fight only to have it cancelled because his opponent failed a drug test. How is ANY of that his fault? Why would anybody be happy about losing out on a career-high $5.000.000 payday? :patsch

You all are honestly below dimwitted.

Uh, Salido/Vargas. Pretty much puts an end to this stupid notion. It's done. Wilder ducked, and that's all. He'd rather preserve his 0 then face taking a nap in Russia.

Wilder fan girls are funny. Al told Deonkey he could still get the 5m by throwing a hissy fit and running. Bum squad ran too quick though, Povetkin was clean. :|

And Wilder did nothing about it.
I am not blaming him from stepping away, but if he really needed that money, then maybe he should have thoght about postponing the event?
Make Povetkin prove his innocence just like Vargas. See if a deal can be worked out. But no, Wilder left asap.

    1) It's not a duck, yet.
    2) Fight isn't cancelled, yet.

Uh, no they didn't. They merely postponed it. Vargas/Salido makes this no argument. Wilder ducked, simple as that.

Plus, Wilder could've fought Povetkin anyways. Somehow, the WBC still let Vargas fight even after failing a drug test.

Because Vargas gave enough proof of his innocence.

How? By taking another test later? You do realize that PED users don't need the drug in their system on fight night?

He was already under the limit of 1 mcg stated by VADA, so he's clean. Team Wilder clearly ducked.

He was on clean on the 17th and 15 times under the limit in April. You are as dumb as bum squad.

Floyd used IV bags to mask PEDs, did Povetkin use IV bags?
