Was thinking along the same lines - would like to see the fight later in the year, Wlad has a fight coming up so it would be quite a while before fury could even try and get a fight, may as well try for wilder.
The OP seems to have misunderstood: the Brit promoter said he would pay Hammer step-aside money if terms could be reached with Wilder before the February fight -- not to fight on that date, but for a date down the road (because if Tyson fights on that date, it would push the potential title fight date back). So we're talking a summer fight at the earliest. So first the Brit promoter (aka He Who Shall Not Be Named) has to make an offer to Wilder. Which, it seems, hasn't yet happened. In further reading comprehension news, Wilder does indeed have a hand fracture. It just won't require surgery to heal, only time off. I'm sure he's in, or will be in, a soft cast of some sort. He's not "out" until March as far as fighting, he's not allowed to hit a bag or anything like that until mid-March, so it would be a few months later before he could actually fight.
If both Wilder and Fury fought one more time between going to each other, their fight would probably be even bigger than Klitschko vs either.
Don't believe anything Frank Wаrren says. He's told us so many lies in the past... why would you believe him now? He's just using Wilder's name to further publicize the Fury-Hammer fight. This is a tactic often used by Bob Arum and Floyd Mayweather: they make you think that Floyd and Pacquiao's next mismatches are eliminators leading up to the grand finale of Pacquiao vs Mayweather. Then they fight more mismatches.
duck? so not taking a fight on a one month notice right after injuring his hand and eye is a duck? stfu, let's see Tyson fight a world class opponent, and fight Wilder one month later.
