That costume was racist and should be banned from boxing after what it did to Wilder. I can’t believe I thought the problem was him carrying around a 275lb Gypsy King who was leaning all over him and boxing his head and body FK that racist costume I hope it burns
There was no cutman present against Fury and Wilder's face was swelling up and ear bleeding and no one was treating the injuries from his corner. He needs a proper cutman for the rematch
All you young aspiring boxers out there you need to learn this lesson. The most important things in boxing are not your stance or jab or moving backwards or having a good inside game. It's all about making sure your ring walk costume is light and for gawds sake does not include any lights.
Prolong the rematch as long as possible and hope Fury self destructs again or that Joshua catches Fury cold early.
Come to the ring wearing an even heavier costume, so he has that ready as his excuse when Fury gives him another pasting.
The only chance he'd have in a 3rd fight is if a Bonecrusher Smith vs Tim Witherspoon 2 situation plays out. Fury comes in out of shape and unmotivated and Wilder completely sells out for a 1st round KO.
After watching that last weekend its time for him to take a massive gamble. Either come in extremely light or extremely heavy. 230 wasn,t effective at all. I,d be tempted to get him up to 270 just like fury will be. Massive risk bearing in mind...the evidence points to him not carrying weight too well. But what other choice does he have. He was overpowered at 230. I,d get him up to 270 against fury and try to slow his tempo down. To try and manage the weight. Its a terrible move for wilder against the rest but for the fury fight it might help him. He is too skinny to not get overpowered by a 270 lbl fury. Probably wouldn,t have the gas tank to keep up with fury but if your getting overpowered and dont have the boxing skills you have to try something else drastic. Either that or come in and 210 again. Good stamina. More elusive. Still has good power at 210. More chance of being overpowered tho. Needs to take a big risk tho...232 wasn,t effective against a 270 plus fury. And doesnt have the time to improve much else.
Wilder's body is not going to take the strain of going up to 270. It would be better for Wilder to come in at 215, like he usually does, and be able to move around.
He is hoping Fury will self destruct like before Wlad rematch. If not just fight kamikaze style: kill or be killed. Either way Wilder picks up a big check. Make the first 3 rounds into 3 rounds of death.
