This fight again just showed how awful Wilder is when on the backfoot. He has to be able to plant his feet to deliver that right hand and Parker just used feints to keep backing Wilder up. Wilder has zero guard and relies on movement and leaning back from shots, so he reacts to almost every damn feint, so all Parker had to do was feint him onto the ropes and then unload a right hand. It wasn't a particularly complex game plan from Parker but it was damn effective and Parker's execution was flawless, he never found himself opening up in the centre where Wilder would have space to throw and get leverage. He just kept to his strategy and never waivered from it even when he had Wilder hurt and Wilder simply never had a plan or the tools to fight any differently.
